I love your compositions. Do you have the version of the final drawing in mind before you started? Or you start in the middle and let it grow organically?
Thanks! That’s an hard question. I try to imagine the framed drawing at the sketchbook before doing it. So I choose if I should do it in vertical, horizontal, double page, … . Sometime I draw the “skeleton” of the sketch in order get the right proportions. Sometimes I just start from left to right. To be honest, I’m always making hypothetical compositions that come to my mind when it see some spot. If I can, I go there and sketch.
