I went this morning to the iconic Mies Van der Rohe’s Seagram Building to draw the urban square facing Park Av., that I thought would feature the red Calder sculpture, I was used to. Unfortunately that work of Art isn’t there anymore! While I was drawing it, I got used to the new one, that is really fun to sketch! Nevertheless, I took round 2 hours to finish the drawing, because the rain forced me make 3 breaks! Roller-ball and #watercolor on Moleskine.
Time well spent though – I especially love hte flashes of colour you’ve inserted. Beautiful sketch, as always!
Thanks a lot Rebecca!! Very kind, as always 🙂
