I felt weird to be painting between Velazquez, El Greco, Ribera, Goya, Sorolla, … I felt I didn’t have the right to do it! Nevertheless, the Usk NY meeting was here, at The Hispanic Society. I did just this sketch and delightfully starred at the other paintings.
