1943 / Carrol Street / Gowanus

This afternoon at Carrol Street, Gowanus, Brooklyn. I was running against time, as the Sun was vanishing… On the foreground Monte’s, the oldest Italian restaurant in Brooklyn

  1. I’m in love with every single one of your works. They all have this unique feel and atmosphere which instantly makes me want to go outside and sketch, plus just your technical skills alone are one of the best I’ve ever seen. Just… Wow, keep up the good work. 🙂

  2. I don’t find the colours vibrant, but smooth and peaceful, as is usually the case in your sketches. Very gentle, light shades of watercolor. I love them, Hugo, as you know! And the sketch – perfect!
