Last sketch in Athens, at Monastiraki. I would love to have more time to draw this city: a paradise to sketch!

Somewhere on Aegean sea.
Ferry from Sifnos to Athens. I was really tired but I wanted to captured this moment. I almost left the drawing unfinished because of the really stong wind and also I was continuously missing the colors! But an “urban sketch” should be truthful to the circumstances, no?

Summer sketch at Athens. The impressive Temple of Olympian Zeus and the Acropolis on the background. It was so hot, I think my watercolors never got dry so fast! It was hard to work “wet on wet” in these conditions…

2254 / One of favourite Summer sketches in #greece. I felt In love with this church at Vathi beach in Sifnos island. Aren’t this forms and shadows amazing?!
An old one (2011), from Santorini, Greece. I´m glad to realize that my watercolor technic has improved since this sketch! I must return to this incredible island and paint it again!
