I did these sketches when I was, in March, at Campania, Italy.
Next to Salerno, Paestum contains some of the most well-preserved ancient Greek temples in the world. This one is called “The second Temple of Hera”. It is a highly recommend spot to visit! When I draw amazing buildings like this I always think: “have I the right to do it?!
This morning while drinking an orange juice, I drew this french and spanish students. The fat lady was done a couple of days ago at Pobla de Valbona, though also with an orange juice in my left hand. Is not in vain that Valencia is famous for this fruit!
One more year with the first-year students at the Architecture School. 94 new fresh students: I’ll try to transmit them the pleasure of drawing!
I escaped from the crowd that runs through the old town’s main road to do this sketch in one hour; just before eating a nice pizza at lovely terrace, and in very good company! What more can you ask in a late summer afternoon?
This is not my favorite subject, by I stuck with friend who was drawing it, so I did the same. Things you do for friends!

The Vicolo dell’Atleta (Alley of the Athlete) gets its name from the finding of a statue of an athlete there, around the middle of the 19th century. The statue, which is called Apoxyomonosand can be seen in the Vatican Museums.
