Autumn. Late afternoon. “Viveros”/ Valencia // Spain. 4b pencil + watercolor on Guarro 240 gr paper.
This morning, from my window at the University: I´m glad I can contemplate these gorgeous palm tree colors from my office seat.
Second sketch at Sierra Calderona, trying to transmit the lovely Autumn colors.
This morning at Sierra Calderona. Nice walk with good friends and fresh air, perfect mood for the fresh drawing of the day!
This is an exercise I asked my students to do. Nothing better than doing it myself, in order to understand all the possible doubts they can have. To goal was not to draw “a stair”, but rather understand the geometry that contains it. roller-ball and 4b pencil on caballo paper.
El objectivo no es dibujar “una escalera”, pero sí, entender la geometría que la contiene.
After the morning sketching session, at the cherfull dinner with the sketchcrawl sketchers.
This was my first morning sketch at the 45th world wide sketchcrawl, done at the Train Station, looking at the City Hall. At my daily “research” on drawing, I’m now trying bigger formats in urban sketches: this is one of the new experiences (42×29,7cm).
While my students were drawing this class exercise, I did a quick watercolor (It is the best way, in my opinion, to understand the building and the eventual doubts students may have)
