birds – a fresh drawing everyday

Birds singing and a lovely view to the former templar Castle; That is what I got when visiting the highly recommended hotel designed by the portuguese architect Carrillo da Graça.

Yesterday evening I went for a stroll at one of the gardens of the neighborhood, where did a quick drawing of one of its alleys (central sketch). Then I stopped at the duck’s lake, where, I though I was drawing the birds with black ink ( it was very dark ). After arriving home, I realized that the ducks and swans at the notebook were actually red! I like the composition, anyway!

I escaped from the crowd that runs through the old town’s main road to do this sketch in one hour; just before eating a nice pizza at lovely terrace, and in very good company! What more can you ask in a late summer afternoon?
