I found this drawing from one of my trips from Porto to Valencia.
It was one of the most powerful castles in Europe the XVth and XVIth centuries. I was a bit disappointed because it is was too “reconstructed” in the XXth century, so I felt it somehow “fake”.
The Donjon is one of the most remarkable elements of the building.
Birds singing and a lovely view to the former templar Castle; That is what I got when visiting the highly recommended hotel designed by the portuguese architect Carrillo da Graça.

A crazy idea: to draw and paint Libon From Ponte 25 de Abril to St. Apolónia in less than 50m! Maybe I should have focused in some smaller area…
