One weekend a year, at #racinglegends I enjoy drawing classic cars, like this lovely #lanciadeltaintegrale.

1761 / Bushwick car – Chevrolet Impala // Brooklyn
If you live in Bushwick you should have notice this lovely Chevy Impala, always parked around this corner. I did the sketch on site, drawing it directly on ink and painting using watercolor. This image was used to ilustrate to my NYC book cover, awarded at the 18e rendez-vous du Carnet de Voyage.

1757 / screw on the tire / Valencia
While waiting for the mechanic to change a perforated tire (the screw is on my left hand and the tire was brand new – didn’t have more than 1km!). I wanted to sketch my car ( started to draw it in the left part of the sketchbook), but I wasn’t allowed to be among the mechanics, so I had to draw in the boring area where the new cars were. I decided to occupy my time with this fancy 2 Series Cabrio…
1748 / The Lamborghini waiting for the race / Cheste
This morning at the box of the team Raton Racing on the Lamborghini Blanc Pain Super Trofeo. One of the team members (they were all very nice!) thanked me for making the sketch, saying that it would give them luck to the race! In fact, this car I accidently choose to sketch, won later the race, becoming world Champion!
At the end, I return to the boxes and asked the driver (and champion) Dane Lind to sign my sketch.
1744 / Triumph TR3 Night sketch*scanned version
Triumph TR3 Night sketch in very nice company chez Tazab, merci!
Once a year, in Clermont Ferrand, a group of sketchers get together to draw a classic car. I was lucky to be invited this year to sketch the lovely 1958 Triumph!
Some of them have special gear to sketch at night, like fancy glasses with LED light!
1703 / E-type (sat on the floor) / Retro AUTO&MOTO VALENCIA
Finally I hable to sketch a Jaguar E-type! Drawing and painting is undoubtedly the best way to assimilate those lovely forms, although I must admit was not easy to paint that British green …This morning at RETRO AUTO&MOTO VALENCIA. Thanks to Club Automóviles Antiguos de Valencia for letting me sketch the jag!
