1754 /  Jazz at the UPV / Valencia 

Great jazz show, last week at the UPV. Lucía Martinez Quartet, is formed by the drummer that leads and gives the name at the Band, and 3 Portuguese form Oporto, Pedro Neves (piano), João Pedro Brandão (saxo) and Carl Minnemann (bass).

1473 / 10k and Johnny O’neal / Mezzrow Jazz Club / NYC

Some days ago I reached 10k followers on muy instagram account (yolahugo)! That’s incredible!! 

That night I was at Mezzrow, listening to the amazing Johnny O’neal. Ironically, when he signed the sketch he wrote “Many Those”. I think he was referring to the drawings (it was the third time I sketched him and his third signature ), not to the instagram followers, of course!

1432/ Big Band / Greenwich Village // NYC

This time #thevillagevangard big band was playing and was sitting on different point of view. The dark room forced me to sketch using my phone screen as a lighting source. The odd thing happened when the band stopped the show because someone was recording. I was drawing and didn’t noticed that were pointing at me! When I realized that,  I told “I’m drawing”.They didn’t believe, ironically smiling, like saying “are you kidding me?!” I turn
