1417/ John Zorn at Village / NYC

Another accomplished dream. Coming to the Village Vanguard! Seated on first row at a John Zorn Gig: Couldn’t be better! At the end, I went to backstage and asked Zorn to sign my sketch. He didn’t look very friendly at the beginning. Then, after kindly sign the drawing and ask all the band to do the same, he told me “I though you were a critic, but of course you’re too thin to be a critic!

1407 / Under the beams of Myrtle Train Station / Brooklyn // NYC

Yesterday at Myrtle/Broadway, Brooklyn. Back to my Beloved beams and chaotic atmosphere: police sirens, works on the road, subway breaking screech, all the  kind of automobile horns and a miscellaneous of people, some really strange! All this, under the sound of the loud music coming from the corner store. I was sit on my bike that was supported by the Dunkin’ Donuts window. Next to me, a lady, that opened the Dunkin’s door to costumers waiting for some coins in return, told me “You just did this? All this? Amazing!” Thanks for your comment!! (It was impossible to make the picture, due the high contrasting light)

1402 / Convertible Mustang / little Italy / NYC

I’ve just spotted this classic #mustang at #littleitaly. I’m tired, it’s late and freezing, but I could’t avoid to stop and sketch it. I had some pleasant comments of 2 nice German girls that probably would be reading this 🙂 Now I’m warming up, with a hot and tasty noodle soup at my favorite Chinese restaurant in town.

1401 / Autumn mood / Washigton Park // NYC

Yesterday #sketchcrawl at Washington Park, NYC . There was a crazy atmosphere at the park with all kind of musicians, dancers, protestors, religious prayers… and all I could draw was this peaceful Autumn scenario…

1399 / Street at Red Hook / NYC

Street at #redhook, close to Valentino Pier. Just before the dawn. The light was so beautiful when I started the drawing, not exactly as when I did the picture. At this time of the day, light changes in every second. I had a lot of nice and funny comments here: “that’s hot, that’s detail on the top of detail”. “Once you finish, you got a sell it!” “You got a f*****g talent, Damn, f*****g amazing, you got this f*****g van!” 🙂

1397 / Finantial District from Brooklyn Bridge / NYC

Just now at Brooklyn Bridge ,taking advantage of the (relatively) warm weather. Maybe the last day of the year when I would be able to sketch at night. This time used watercolor on moleskine sketchbook.
