Table sketch at “Adega do Olho”. Nice to go back there, after so many years and find out that nothing has changed!
1528 / Arquinho do Castelo / Leça da Palmeira
While waiting for a table to lunch at Arquinho do Castelo, one of my favorite restaurants. I must admit the food quality and staff kindness worth the long wait…
1377 / bicycle at Brooklyn Heights / NYC
When I find, together, two of my most-wanted objects, the Classic Triumph Boneville and the awesome olive-green #tokyobike, I have to draw the scene! They look great in Brooklyn Heights!
1369 / AP Café / Ridgewood / Brooklyn
We can also find at Ridgewood this kind of neat, minimalist bars featuring white Eames chairs, and, the most important, a good cappuccino! The scenario was soundtracked by Easy-listening (not too bad) and was framed by this huge bicep tattooed Italian dude, whose #yellow shirt matched perfectly with my bike on the background (the color I mean…)
1364 / Tortilleria Mexicana/ Brooklyn / NYC
At Ridgeswood there is this strange warehouse/factory that also sells food. I was a bit doubtful to get in, but it’s a nice place inded, with great atmosphere and such a rattling tacos!! Unfortunately they don’t seel beer, but the costumers are free to bring it on!
1353 / At the Pizzaria / Porto // Portugal
Due to my (all-day, for several days) searching for a room in NYC, I can´t find time to draw, so, I´m posting some drawings I did last month at Porto, Like this one of my favorite pizzeria on the city: Casa d’Oro – Casanostra.
1208 / Il Duca: The real Margherita / Salerno // Italy
Eating a real margherita, at Il Duca Salerno. I’m close to Naples, pizza’s home land, where they are simple and tasteful; and also cheap, even cheaper than I thought, cause when I showed the sketch to the owner, he made me a discount! Highly recomended: nice atmosphere, nice food and nice staff! Grazie Il Duca!
