2583 / Sail and sketch watercolor / Jávea

#sailandsketch at the end of the day, between Jávea and Dénia.

Not easy to sketch at the boat. Even harder to paint… and we need to be very  careful to avoid the sketching gear to fall into the sea! Have you ever tried?

2577 / Ponte D.Luis / Dom Luis Bridge / Porto // Portugal

Always wanted to sketch this amazing  view from old town Porto roofs. Love this triangular shape of the houses set!  Now, the usual dilemma: shall I go back there and paint it?

Finally with this #galaxynote10plus wide angle, I can fit all the landscape in one picture!

2208 / Sierra bar / Valencia

When people in Valencia go cycle in the mountains, they usually stop in some bar, like this one in Serra, to have a big “almuerzo”, usually a huge sandwich and beer or wine… and of course, some peanuts and olives. It takes a while to eat all that, so I always have time to sketch before jumping to the bicycle again. #micronpen on #moleskine #sketchbook

2170 / Piazza Vecchia / Bergamo

Piazza Vecchia at #bergamo. The favorite square of Le Corbusier, they say! One of my favorite for sure, but I would maybe vote for Siena’s square (Il Campo) what do you think? #uniball and #pentelbrushpen on #cansonsketchbook

2010 / Brooklyn Art Library / Williamsburg

I’ve not been posting these last days because my phone was stolen at Soho. Besides loosing all my data, I couldn’t make my usual drawing pictures for my last drawings. I realized how dependent I am from the smart phone!

Yesterday, I was at the amazing Brooklyn Art Library featuring “36,075 artists’ books contributed by creative people from 135+ countries”. Thanks Millie for letting me your phone for this picture!

1602 / Newburry St. / Boston

At Boston downtown, almost shocking lifestyle contrast, after two weeks in Utica! Loved this city, human scale, nice gardens and eclectic buildings…and sporty people, so proud of their Celtics team. Here, I used my beloved pilot parallel and muji sketchbook (Forgotten on my backpack for a while! )

1588 / 30 minutes in Boston / USA

Yesterday I was 30 minutes in Boston, after the flight from Lisbon. While waiting for my 6 hour BUS ride, I could buy my dinner or make a quick sketch. I choose the second option, and all I ate for 12 hours was an apple…
