Maybe my favourite spot to sketch at Vathi Beach: lovely buildings, nice shadow, sea breeze and benches to sit in, what more can we ask ?
I’ve done several sketches here, what’s your favorite? Slide to check the others.

What a treat! Sketching the amazing altarpieces room of @gvamubav! (National Fine Arts Museum in Valencia) . Have you been there? Have you ever drawn a altarpiece? I found it really hard!

What a treat! @gvamubav (National Fine Arts Museum in Valencia) invited me again to illustrate its amazing building and teach a workshop to celebrate  #museumday!

Last sketch in Athens, at Monastiraki. I would love to have more time to draw this city: a paradise  to sketch!

I started this sketh before going to Sifnos and finihed it after returning from the island.

Somewhere on Aegean sea.

Ferry from Sifnos to Athens. I was really tired but I wanted to captured this moment. I almost left the drawing unfinished because of the really stong wind and also I was continuously missing the colors! But an “urban sketch” should be truthful to the circumstances, no?

Summer sketch at Athens. The impressive Temple of  Olympian Zeus and the Acropolis on the background.  It was so hot, I think my watercolors never got dry so fast! It was hard to work “wet on wet” in these conditions…
