1093 / The Mini on the wall*work in progress / Valencia // Spain

I´ve been drawing a car at a wall with Posca markers. This 1,4 m classic Cooper is being displayed at the bedroom of an (almost) 3 years old Mini fan. It is hard to sketch in a such a big scale! I hope to finish it soon…

I found this old sketchbook that I’m enjoying very much where I drew one of my favorites squares in Valencia; maybe because of its shape, maybe because of the “Lonja” influence or… is it the fantastic olive tree near the “Café Lisboa”?

929 / zooming to Boa Nova tea house / Leça da Palmeira // Porto

It is always a pleasure to draw the iconic building of 1958 design by Alvaro Siza Vieira.

In fact, these are 2 sketches of the same building, the upper sketch is a “zoom” of the one at the bottom. Instead of “zooming” with camera I did it walking towards the building and redrawing.

De facto, são dois desenhos, o superior é um “zoom” do inferior (vista geral). Neste caso, em vez de fazer o “zoom” com uma máquina fotográfica, fi-lo caminhando em direcção ao edifício e desenhando-o outra vez.
